Turkish Transportation and Communication Ministry plans to build a third airport in Istanbul at a cost of $500 million.
The Transport and Communications Minister Binali Yildirim said that the airport would be constructed northwest of Istanbul's main Atatürk Airport and the facility's yearly handling capacity would be 10 million passengers. |
