The contest was held in the northern Turkish province of Amasya, which was known as the "city of shahzadahs" during the Ottoman era. Shahzadahs were crown-princes in the Ottoman Empire.

The team from Istanbul`s Four Seasons Hotel won the contest with a dish of lamb shanks. Hilton Istanbul Hotel`s team came on the second place with lamb stew and the Conrad Istanbul Hotel`s team on the third place with lamb with chard.
