General Assembly of Federation of Turkish Hoteliers (TUROFED) was held at this meeting.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who came to Antalya just after starting the first ‘Forum of the Alliance of Civilizations’ initiative in Madrid together with Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez, said tourism is one of the most important industry to maintain peace in the world.    

Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay said that when cultures unite it brings peace in the world. Gunay added that tourism and culture are world’s most important components.

We say same things here for a long time.

Tourism is peace.

Tourism professionals that make friends around the world should be awarded on behalf of world peace.

Maybe the Nobel Peace Prize should be given to all tourism professionals of the World.
