The November 2009 issue of Condé Nast Traveler magazine highlights its Annual Readers' Choice Awards results and Turkey’s Bozcaada and its Aegean islands ranked second Top European Islands.

bozcaada.jpgMykonos and the Cyclades took the top spot in the list where Capri ranked third.

 

This year, 25,008 readers voted on more than 10,000 properties and destinations. The winners ranked in best cities, islands, cruise lines, airlines, hotels, resorts, and car rental agencies worldwide.

 

The Readers Choice Awards gala was held on Thursday, October 15th in New York City at the IAC Building and was hosted by Stanley Tucci and Mary Louise Parker.

 

About Bozcaada

Bozcaada is a small island in the Aegean Sea, part of the Bozcaada district of Çanakkale province in Turkey. Bozcaada has a population of about 2,500. The main industries are fishing and tourism. The island has been famous for its grapes, wines and red poppies for centuries.
