Alitalia today organized a conference to announce its newest destination that will connect Istanbul with Turin (Torino), Italy.

Piemonte Turismo also promoted Turin and Piemonte (Piedmont) region during the conference.

 

Alitalia, which will initially start with two weekly flights, will add the third flight from January 18, 2010. Flights departing from Istanbul will be on Tuesday at 19:00, Friday at 20:45, and Sunday at 14:00. On the other hand, departures from Turin are on Tuesday at 14:15, on Friday at 16:00, and Sunday at 09:05.

 

 

As a promotional fare, passengers can fly between two destinations at fares starting from €149 including taxes and surcharges.

 

With the new destination, Alitalia will have 24 flights from Istanbul.

 

Rome Fiurnicino… 14 flights/week

Milan Malpensa… 7 flights/week

Turin… 3 flights/week

 

Now passengers can enjoy all the beauties of Piemonte region and Turin with just a couple of hours flight and especially enjoy winter holidays. Turin which hosted XX Winter Olympics in 2006, is offering great deals for travelers.

  Piemonte Region offers great winter holiday escapes to travelers with its 53 ski stations, 300 properties, 12 snow parks, and 1,300km long ski courses. Moreover, in order to say “Hello or Ciao” to the winter season, a special promotion kicked off that will be valid until 31 March 2010.
