Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that an agreement was signed by Turkish and Libyan foreign ministers at a ceremony in Tripoli on November 23 to remove visa requirements for the nationals of the two countries.

Under the agreement, the visa exemption between Turkey and Libya will begin on Friday, November 27.

Turkey also lifted visa requirement for Albanian citizens with an agreement signed last week. The agreement exempts Albanian citizens from visa requirement for their stay in Turkey for up to 90 days in a six months period. On the other hand, Albania has removed visa requirement for Turkish citizens since 1992.
