All Nippon Airways (ANA)
announces that the planned introduction of new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on its
Narita-New York route, previously scheduled to commence February 20, 2010 (Saturday),
will change,
due to a delay in the development of its
new Premium Economy seats by Koito Industries, Ltd. (Head office: Yokohama). In addition, ANA regrets to announce that the launch of its new brand "Inspiration of Japan" and new services on routes to North America and Europe will also be delayed.
ANA wishes to extend its sincere apologies
to customers of its international network who may in any way be inconvenienced
by this change. New date for the launch of new aircraft (Narita-New York route) and new service brand "Inspiration of Japan" Monday, April 19, 2010 (planned) *the new aircraft will operate every other day through May 9, and daily from May 10, 2010 (planned)

configuration Boeing 777-300ER First Class: 8 seats Business Class: 68 seats Premium Economy: 24⇒0 seats Economy Class: 112⇒139 seats Total: 212⇒215 seats
4. Response going forward Customer Inquiries Starting today, ANA Customer Service Center staff will begin contacting customers already holding reservations for Narita-New York flights scheduled for the new aircraft. ANA Mileage Club Members will be notified via e-mail. More information will also be made available through the ANA Web site (www.fly-ana.com). Customers may contact ANA at 1-800-235-9262. |
