Focus on Travel News, which has been publishing for more than 2,5 years, and distributed to more than 35 thousand travel professionals around the world every week, received 2005 Skålite Quality Award. Organized by Istanbul SKÅL Club, “ Skålite Quality Awards were presented at its annual award ceremony held at Ciragan Palace on November 8th.

Skål is a professional organization of tourism leaders around the world, promoting global tourism and friendship. It is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry. Its members, the industry's managers and executives, meet at local, national, regional and international levels to discuss and pursue topics of common interest. Skål International today has approximately 23,000 members in 500 Clubs throughout 87 nations. Most activities occur at local levels, moving up through National Committees, under the umbrella of Skål International, headquartered at the General Secretariat in Torremolinos, Spain. Skål Quality Awards contribute towards achieving the overall Public Relations objectives of Skål becoming a prestigious association which set standards synonymous with quality and prestige.
