| Gaziantep is Set for Tourism Boost
Officials intend to use the cultural selling points of the Anatolian city of Gaziantep to develop its tourism potential in a three-year project.
Several projects are planned with the purpose of "enlivening" the cultural life in order to develop tourism in the area.
Plans are afoot to showcase the historical assets of Gaziantep in the form of museums and there is the possibility of a culinary festival to celebrate the food of the region.
Gaziantep provincial culture and tourism director Salih Efiloglu told the news provider: "We detailed the three-year tourism vision of Gaziantep.
"Projects will focus on three main topics: Protection of Gaziantep's cultural values and utilization of them for tourism, healthtourism, and boosting investments."

Gazientep is the pistachio capital of Turkey, with the nut being heavily cultivated in the region.
