| Brits Booking Holidays in Turkey for 2008
Overseas property investors in Turkey are set to benefit from a strong year in its tourist market, experts have said.
According to the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA), holiday firms are already receiving bookings for 2008.
This suggests that the growing popularity of Turkey is prompting many leisure travelers to book their breaks early in order to snap up the most desirable properties.
MyHoliday.com recently highlighted the growing trend of booking holidays well in advance, citing Turkey as an example of where this occurring.
Commenting on the trend, ABTA president Justin Fleming stated that people found traveling an "inspiring" way of spending their free time.
He added: "With so many exciting events and enticing destinations, our enthusiasm for overseas holidays in 2008 remains high."
The organization also stated that Portugal was proving to be another popular location among Britons, as well as Egypt .
