Cappadocia To Be Lit During Night

The region of Cappadocia in the central Anatolian city of Nevşehir, which is famous for its fairy chimneys, will be lit up at night for domestic and foreign tourists to be able to see all the mystery and beauty of this natural wonder of the world.

Nevşehir Mayor Asım Hacımustafaoğlu said their aim was to enable tourists to visit the region at night. He said they had started working on the project and added that they will choose a pilot region to install lighting and a company will start preliminary work on lighting.

“Day and night of the Cappadocia region is very impressive and beautiful. Tourists coming to the region can visit the region in daytime and take a rest at night. After choosing a pilot region, we will expand to the entire Cappadocia region and enliven night tourism in the region by using light effects,” he said.
