Hyatt Regency Saipan Opens i Sagua Spa

Hyatt Regency Saipan is pleased to announce the opening “i Sagua Spa” featuring a custom-designed setting that embraces the local environment and culture.

The name, i Sagua, meaning “channel of water” in the Chamorro language, was created by Zenn Tomokane, an employee of Hyatt Regency Saipan.

Saipan is the largest island and capital of the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), a chain of 15 tropical islands belonging to the Marianas archipelago in the western Pacific Ocean .

All the treatment rooms are distinguished with names of flowers and plants, also named in the Carolinian language.

Hyatt Regency Saipan general manager Michael von Siebenthal said that the Hyatt built the new facility in order to entice more visitors to the CNMI.

He added, “Building the i Sagua Spa demonstrates our commitment to the community. We intend to showcase an authentic and unique experience for all our guests.”

i Sagua Spe was designed by N15 Architect Inc. i Sagua Spa is 7,700 square feet of tranquil setting of a tropical garden, a luxurious residential suite, seven deluxe treatment rooms including one single room and five double rooms. Guests can also experience the Juice Wellness Bar, a sauna and three plunge pools.
